Frontier Gambling Show

Everyone likes playing cards, and whether they are used to perform magic tricks or for games and entertainment, they have been part of our culture since the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock and played Hearts while waiting for their turkey dinner. As part of the nationwide celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, Ernie Guderjahn, 30 year member of Hollywood’s famous Magic Castle, presented his internationally renowned gambling demonstration of Early American games of chance.

The gambler gives you a deck of regular playing cards. The gambler proposes a bet.You cut,You shuffle,You deal...and the gambler wins! Then he shows you how to do it!

During this demonstration he shows how to win at these long-forgotten games of chance once featured on the majestic river boats and dusty taverns of the frontier. These are the very same games that may have fooled explorers like Lewis & Clark as this famous duo traveled from the known to unknown lands. It is an intimate performance, with the audience gathered around an old gambling table, each holding a deck of cards. These remarkable betting games can be done by any member of the audience, NO SKILL REQUIRED. Interested? Take a chance, give us a call. Download Old Time Gambling games information.
